One of the hardest things to do is meditate. I know it seems silly, but it's true. Many people have a hard time letting their mind relax. I totally get it. I'm the same way too.
It actually took my time to get good at meditation. It took time for me to work it into my routine. Don't be hard on yourself if you're having a hard time.
One of the tricks I used was breaking up my meditation. For instance instead of being focused on 10 to 15 minute meditations I would aim for a minute. After I realized I was able to devote time to a 1 minute a day I knew I could slowly increase it. I eventually began to devote more time and frequency to meditation.
I also explored different types of meditation. I began to explore my options with sound energy, guided meditation, sound bowls, and even grounding. Having different types of options let me find out what type of meditation worked for me.
Remember it takes time, it is not supposed to be rushed or have a time frame. Meditation can be an amazing tool for many people. I decreases stress, anxiety and brings peace.
